Del Rey is the most affordable neighborhood on Los Angeles’ Westside with most houses costing between $500,000 to $800,000. It's only 2 miles from the beach and 4 miles north of LAX.

Del Rey is a mostly residential community of over 6,000 single-story California bungalow homes built during the late 1940s and early 1950s. There are also shops, restaurants, some condos and apartment buildings plus a few small industrial buildings.

Del Rey's 30,000 residents can enjoy the Ballona Creek and Culver Boulevard Median bicycle paths.

The surrounding communities are Marina Del Rey, Venice, Mar Vista, Culver City, Playa Vista & Playa Del Rey.
